In homage to Gustav Klimt, who in August 1913 painted two memorable landscapes from this place, the master’s only works painted in Italy: “View of Malcesine” and “Church of Cassone”. With this intervention, meticulously cared for in design and detail, we wanted to pay homage to that significant stay of the great master in Malcesine.

mile walk along the lakeside
promenade to the city center. (Getting to the start of the
promenade is a bit of a challenge,
but the hotel can provide directions.)
Very pleasant public areas of the
hotel. Lovely library area. Great bar with seating
inside or on the terrace overlooking the lake.
Lovely room in the old part of the hotel with a fantastic view of the lake, the towns and the mountains across the lake.
