Contemporary sculptures in dialogue with the landscape of Lake Garda
2026: the passion continues, where art challenges the sky and the lake
At Hotel Bellevue, the passion for art continues and is renewed through works that engage in dialogue with the surrounding landscape and enhance its beauty. At the heart of this narrative is the sculptor Eduard Habicher, a close friend of Ruggero, who has presented two works created specifically for the hotel: the most recent and significant additions to our art park.
The first sculpture, more intimate and cubic in form, was created in 2019 from an inspiration developed while observing the landscape directly from the hotel; the second, monumental and striking in visual impact, was inaugurated in 2023 and stands as a true monumental window opening onto the waves of Lake Garda, framing its horizon.
Habicher’s works are distinguished by their bold and contemporary character: sheets of steel, tinted a vivid flame red, enter into dialogue with the surrounding nature, while the forms seem to float lightly in space, dynamically merging with the landscape. In a compelling challenge to the laws of physics, the sculptures trace signs in the air like suspended gestures of the artist, conveying energy and movement while simultaneously leading us into a poetic dimension where art, matter, and nature merge in perfect balance.
